Andrew Bogut: Top 3(0) NBA Center! The Lie That Died.
Remember when Joe Lacob said that Andrew Bogut's (lied about) surgery post-trade was "not relevant" last year? Joe Knows Relevant, clearly. Oh wait, no, he is a massive lying tool and Bogut was not remotely reliable for the most relevant games of the season, when the Warriors showed that they do not belong.
Anyhoo, ticket sales gimmicks aside, the big word upon the Ellis and Udoh for Richard Jefferson, Bogut's corpse, and the irrelevant Festus Ezeli trade, from Adam Lauridsen, Marcus Thompson, and the various, directly cash-paid/otherwise-compensated team mouthpieces, was that Bob Myers was Jesus Christ incarnate (he who spent millions to get a second round pick with which to draft and immediately guarantee further millions to his former client, the worthless bust Jeremy Tyler, dumped this season to avoid luxury tax payments by the same old Salary Protection douche bags as ever) and that the Warriors had just landed....
A TOP 3 CENTER!!!!!
The Hype Train just keeps rolling for the softest market in the league. One Bubble Gum playoff series victory every ten years ought to tide this Disposable Income Mecca over.
Here's a challenge. Can you name 3 Centers you'd rather have instead of Andrew Bogut if you're building a 5+ year team core? Of course you can. And I can, in fact, name 30+.
The reason this matters:
After Lacob & co. (an increasingly far-reaching NorCal geographic and hazily team-associated collective) lied about Bogut's health despite planning to lose intentionally (Mike Malone: genius!) last season, he missed even more games due to a previously-undisclosed major surgery. When he finally returned, he was on a strict minutes limit that never really came off, though he got above 20 minutes a few times. All told, he was not reliable, not his best, and often outright detrimental to the team. His last season with the team is next season. The Warriors, already proven to have acted only for PR value (they fucked up the salary opportunities by moving Jackson for Jefferson, which earns no cred when the other Salary Protection moves only highlighted the management's general superficiality and media pander logic), thus end up with no full season of full Bogut health, and he will not be a top tier C moving into his final longterm contract post-thirty after that. And so, the Lacob & co. braintrust has failed completely to build an actually competitive longterm core of substance. They have shitwing chuckers (making one shot at a high clip does not make the strategy efficient, by the way) and Honkey David Lee, another injury case empty stats/big contract irrelevance.
If one were building a team for the immediate and longterm future, there are MANY names one would want ahead of Bogut, whose name value is declining as rapidly as his game now. Rony Seikaly all over again. At best. Likely an optimistic assessment. Those names, in no particular order:
1. Howard
2. M. Gasol
3. Hibbert
4. Drummond
5. Asik
6. LARRY SANDERS!
7. Noah
8. Cousins
9. Horford
10. Splitter
11. Jefferson
12. Bosh
13. Vucevic

The Golden State Capital WarKings. Also, Warriors player trade values.
With all of the creepy co-ownership, shared personnel networks between Sacramento and "Golden State" now, it's nearly impossible to NOT think of collusion when wondering how the Kings will proceed as a subsidiary of the Warriors. What's next, a joint TV venture? The league intentionally killed competitive play again here. At any rate, as soon as it looked safe to intermingle staffs as Vivek Ranadive was announced as the new owner (and now owner of two teams simultaneously, just as Joe Lacob still owns his Celtics shares apparently), the trade noise out of Oakland Sacramento started up on Demarcus Cousins (the ONLY trade asset they have, as Tyreke Evans is already slated for renouncement but already told them he will not agree to sign and trades unless he wants to go to the team involved). This is textbook Travis Schlenk/Ray Ridder work we're witnessing, and now there are news plants coming out that Vivek Ranadive has Jerry West advising him on the next Kings GM hire. The Warriors dropped West's name non-stop after paying him millions to sit in LA and make the occasional NorCal media tour for publicity hits. Apparently this is the only idea Vivek has, besides hiring nothing but Warriors folks for the new Kings staff. But wait- who the hell does Jerry West work for now? Is he getting paid by the Kings, too?
Ask ANY of the Kings rumor reporters who they're even talking to. They won't tell you, because they're more or less part of the WarKings infrastructure now. In bed/on the payroll for all intents and purposes.
OK, current Warriors player trade values:
Bogut - none
Lee - none
Biedrins - none
Jefferson - none
Curry - some, but not franchise player value, so irrelevant. Warriors can't/won't move, don't reasonably estimate his value anyway. Put it this way: Dwight Howard more valuable. Chris Paul more valuable. Warriors would now refuse to make the legacy brat pretty talker status quo do-what-management-says PR-before-substance pretty boy available for either even WITH full contract term on those two after YEARS of excuses about "without an extension, no wai!" Move along. This franchise can't hack it. Does not belong. Has never been in serious talks for any serious franchise player. Same old Ridder Ball BS.
Barnes - none (shitwing)
Thompson - none (shitwing)
Ezeli - none
Green - none
Bazemore - negative none

How Many League Owners Get to Own Two Or More Teams At Same Time?
1. To whom did Joe Lacob sell his Celtics stake? Or did he just keep it?
2. Presumably, Vivek Ranadive's Warriors shares have already been sold if he is closing the "sale" of Kings next week. WHO IS THE NEW CO-OWNER NUMBER 437?!?! IS HE AS BIG OF A "CULTURAL ASSET" AS VIVEK THE INDIAN RAINMAKER??????? WHO IS THE NEW WARRIORS DYNAMIC OWNERSHIP NETWORK ADDITION???? WHO WILL KEEP THIS SWEET ASS SYNERGY ROLLING????? I thought this process took like foreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeever based on last time around? Or wait, to whom will the shares be sold?! Is there an "open" bidding process???? Will Sal Galatioto run the bidding again I hope?
3. Who is the mystery minority owner Glen Taylor, conveniently on the league's Relocation Committee, got to privately, non-competitively sell some unspecified portion of the Timberwolves to a couple of years back? No one knows, huh?
Etc. No media coverage, league sweeps this shit under the rug. Excuses and bullshit every time.
Meanwhile, today I played golf with a Downtown Plaza property owner who is THRILLED he was so "lucky" this "sale" went thru and his li'l investment will now be bought for boatloads more than it was ever worth. Kevin Johnson & co. made a handful of dickheads, most in Bay Area and with no real Sacramento ties or future investment, a lot of free money.
The guy was a great golfer though. Kicked my ass.

Warriors Roster Next Season Set
The team's intensive last-ditch PR smear campaign of Jarrett Jack and Carl Landry-- which they're running WHILE STILL IN THE PLAYOFFS since they know everyone tunes out the moment this series is over if the game theft on shitball doesn't pan out-- puts next season's roster into clear perspective. Jack must have made it clear that, in fact, he does NOT want to prop up Stephen Curry's bullshit wannabe act next year, and would like to get paid, thank you very much. Landry has been blacklisted in Lee's absence because of politics and contract statuses, as well. Fine, Ray Ridder. You keep on keepin' on with this tired old routine you run every. single. season.
Based upon all available salary info on the internetz, here's the picture for next season:
Bogut $14 M
Lee $13.878 M
Jefferson $11.046 M (player option- have heard he might opt out for no apparent reason)
Curry $9.887642 M
Biedrins $9 M (Early Termination Option)
Rush $4 M (player option- he would otherwise be long gone, in his plan pre-season)
Barnes $2.923920 M
Thompson $2.317920 M
Ezeli $1.06692 M
Green $.875 M
Bazemore $.788872 M (non-guaranteed in some way if cut before June 30 I assume- this moron's classless buffoonery in-game as he towel whips and wanders onto the court constantly with no suspensions ever coming is Exhibit A of why the Warriors do NOT belong. )
Machado $.490180 M (no chance he's not a roster use- saves team minimum of ~$300k relative to any players with previous league experience counting in salary calculation)
Kuzmic $?????
TOTAL: $70.289734 M+
No draft picks. No trades coming. Maybe a MLE deal to offer some irrelevant player this offseason in hopes of convincing him to come deal with the spoiled brat neurotic entitlement act of Curry/Thompson and the crazy Jesus Freaking of Mark Jackson with no Mike Malone anywhere in sight. And on the heels of a complete, public, team-orchestrated shitcanning of Jack and Landry for any struggles any part of the team (or coaching staff) has. Simple formula Ridder and his appendages have run on the softest, most easily-distracted market in the league.
Before Bazemore, Rush, Jack, Landry, and Machado, it was Dominic McGuire, Kwame Brown, Charles Jenkins, Dorell Wright, Justin Tyler, Nate Robinson, Charlie Bell, Jeff Adrien, Louis Amundson, Acie Law, Dan Gadzuric, Vlad Radmanovic, Reggie Williams, Al Thornton, Ekpe Udoh, Jeremy Lin- Every one of them was some sort of genius deep roster maneuver by Travis Schlenk or Larry Riley or Joe Lacob & co. (still just Travis Schlenk and Ray Ridder, actually). And that's just the previous TWO SEASONS of irrelevant cheapskate roster fluff! This is Ray Ridder Ball, 100%. Absolutely no culture change whatsoever.
Enjoy, dummies.

The David Lee Question...
isn't one. Warriors simply phenomenal without him. Can beat anyone in the league. Ditch his cracker ass. For salary clearance and any draft picks dangled. Less even. Just get him gone pronto so legitimate help can replace him with the incredible savings secured by his absence.

My Warriors in 6 call...
is looking perfect. Solid gold. No one can handle it. I got the word, just like Mark Jackson got that "inside information" that Denver was trying to take Stephen Curry out. Oh wait, my info was real, while Mark Jackson is a fucking imbecile hypocrite weirdo authoritarian. The series gives Warriors maximum home court money making time/psycho soft market fanbase exposure (ugh- ugly, desperate showings still) before their 6 game series against the Spurs (which ALSO gets them max playoff home games, incidentally- what are the odds?????).
Meanwhile, spoiled legacy brat Stephen Curry handling playoff pressure very well in a series rigged for him already:
No one will talk about this attack on a fan by Curry, and the Warriors are already pushing fan animosity like they were the Tea Party, but it doesn't matter. Nuggets are shit on the road and the league is not interested in the low ratings they drive.
